A World Economic Forum (WEF) internal investigation has cleared founder Klaus Schwab of wrongdoing during his time as leader of the globalist organization.
Schwab stepped down as chairman of the WEF in April. The following day he was accused of misconduct‘
It was alleged that he used Forum money to pay for hotel-room massages, made WEF staff withdraw Forum money for his personal use and that he used his organization’s global competitiveness report to “curry favour” with governments.
InfoWars reports: The former chairman denied the accusations and filed a lawsuit against his accusers.
The WEF hired a Swiss law firm to represent it and asked Covington and Burling to carry out an internal investigation of Schwab.
Announcing the findings of the probe on Friday, the organisation said, “Minor irregularities, stemming from blurred lines between personal contributions and forum operations, reflect deep commitment rather than intent of misconduct.”
The WEF board went on to promise that it would “address all issues identified throughout the investigation, including strengthening the governance in general.”
Schwab said he was “pleased that today’s decision lays the foundation for the WEF to continue contributing to the positive development of our society in the future, mindful of its more than 50-year history.”
The WEF is currently being chaired by BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and Hoffmann-La Roche vice-chairman André Hoffmann until a new permanent chair can be found.
The WEF was originally founded as the European Management Forum in 1971 by Schwab, before changing its name a few years later. It would go on to become one of the world’s most influential NGOs, hosting an annual gathering at the Swiss mountain resort of Davos.
The WEF and its founder became a lightning rod for popular anger during the pandemic after he declared a “Great Reset” that would transform every aspect of life in every country on the planet.
“The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future,” Schwab said in 2020.
World leaders, royalty, celebrities, captains of industry, academics and the media joined Schwab’s call for a “Great Reset.”
“Conspiracy theories” about the Forum and its role in the pandemic were furiously “debunked” by the mainstream media.
