Мировые новости: Боснийский депутат предупреждает о готовящемся "ложном флаге", который приведет к третьей мировой войне

A Bosnian MP has warned that a “false flag” attack is coming soon—one that could spark World War III.

Tensions between Bosnia’s divided regions—Republika Srpska (RS), led by President Milorad Dodik, and the Croat-Bosniak Federation (FBiH), both overseen by a UN High Representative—have boiled over in recent weeks, with the MP alleging Dodik is plotting a shadowy incident to escalate the crisis and drag the world into chaos.

Infowars.com reports: Croat state delegate Zlatko Miletić claimed last weekend that Dodik met with representatives of Serbia and Russia in order to escalate the years-long sovereignty dispute by arranging an “incident” in Bosnia sometime before March 15th, according to Sarajevo Times.

The MP claims this “provocation” would have a double purpose: provide a pretext for Dodik to directly pursue independence as well as help Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to shift public attention away from his domestic problems. That’s why Miletić thinks the attack could be imminent, as the next massive anti-government protest in Serbia is planned for March 15th, ahead of which Vučić warned of “large-scale violence” on the streets.

Miletić also asserted there was a secret contingency plan involving “NATO intervention” created in 1996, called Operation “Medusa,” that would activate in case the Dayton Peace Agreement of 1995—and, therefore, Bosnia’s integrity—is threatened:

There are different variants of the plan, but each relates to situations similar to this one, where institutions are endangered, the constitutional order is undermined, etc.

Miletić added that part of the plan has already been activated, involving raising the combat readiness of peacekeeping troops by sending a large number of additional military vehicles, some belonging to the EUFOR peacekeeping mission, but the majority coming from NATO.

However, Miletić urged the EU and NATO to fully activate the plan “not in five days, but now” to prevent the false flag attack from happening. The MP stressed that the plan was real and that hundreds of military vehicles were already on their way to Bosnia:

I am addressing the citizens, but also the institutions! Over nine hundred EUFOR vehicles will arrive! That NATO intervention plan was made in 1996! That operation is called ‘Medusa’! Those undermining the constitutional order will soon see how it’s done!

While the false flag scenario painted by Miletić is not entirely implausible, there’s no way to corroborate any of his claims at this point. Nor is there any public information about the supposed Operation “Medusa” concocted in 1996—the name refers to a Canadian-led offensive against the Taliban in 2006 but has never been officially used with regards to Bosnia.

It’s just as possible that Miletić’s claims are part of a counter-psyop, meant to facilitate FBiH centralization attempts, but either case would be just speculation at this point.

The dispute between the two entities began in 2023 when the Bosniak-Croat majority in the Constitutional Court decided to change the rules and allow for decisions without the presence of their Serb counterparts. The Srpska parliament retaliated by voting to suspend the court’s rulings and gradually withdrawing recognition of the UN High Representative’s authority over the country.

Years of back and forth culminated in the Constitutional Court sentencing the RS president to one year in prison and banning him from public office for defying the High Representative and thus breaking the Dayton treaty last month. Backed by his parliament, Dodik does not recognize the ruling as legitimate, and countered by suspending federal law enforcement and security agencies across the territory of RS.

“As of today, the Bosnia and Herzegovina you knew no longer exists,” Dodik told his supporters gathered outside the RS parliament in Banja Luka after the verdict, fueling fears of renewed secessionist push and ethnic conflict.

However, contrary to Miletić’s claims, both Dodik and Vučić strongly stated that they are only interested in the peaceful resolution of the current crisis and are ready to discuss terms with not only the Federation but also representatives of international bodies.
