President Donald Trump has sent shockwaves through the establishment by suggesting that something the U.S. government is “spraying” is linked to the skyrocketing rates of autism.
Speaking at a White House event with state governors, Trump expressed deep concern over the surge in autism cases, citing a dramatic increase from 1 in 20,000 just 15 years ago to 1 in 34 today—a trend he called both alarming and unacceptable.
“So, there’s something wrong, there’s something wrong, we’ve done something wrong, there’s something… we’re going to figure it out,” Trump declared, hinting that an investigation into the causes of autism is already underway. “You’re going to find out something really soon.”
Trump suggests the rising rates of autism among children could be linked to the U.S. government possibly spraying something in the air.

The President went on to suggest that something being “sprayed” could be a contributing factor.
“Maybe it’s a spray that we spray all over the place that nobody else does, other countries don’t,” Trump said.
He then pointed to the Pennsylvania Dutch, remarking, “The Pennsylvania Dutch, they don’t do anything, and they’re amazingly healthy,” referencing the Amish community, which is known for rejecting vaccines.
Trump’s remarks sparked widespread speculation that he was alluding to government weather modification programs—specifically, stratospheric aerosol injections involving aluminum oxide and other chemicals, commonly referred to as geoengineering or “chemtrails.”
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy weighed in on the matter last year, shortly after ending his presidential campaign and throwing his support behind Trump. Speaking on X, Kennedy declared, “We are going to stop this crime.”

Following last month’s devastating California wildfires, Nicole Shanahan—RFK Jr.’s former running mate and now an advisor to the HHS Secretary—has also addressed the topic of “chemtrails.”
Shanahan pointed out that what many dismiss as a conspiracy theory is, in fact, openly discussed in climate manipulation research and policy documents.
