Мировые новости: Россия не будет обмениваться с Украиной захваченными землями

On Wednesday Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that there is no chance Moscow will give up some of the captured Russian land to Ukraine. The ruler of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, was planning on using his Russian land as a bargaining chip in future negotiations. While in control of this land, Ukraine began murdering the Russian villagers.

“Russia has never discussed and will never discuss the issue of exchanging its territory,” Peskov said.

Russia sees the Ukrainian forces which currently occupy that territory as temporary.

“Of course, Ukrainian units will be expelled from [Russian] territory. All those who are not destroyed will be expelled,” he said.

On Tuesday Zelensky discussed his plans for his newly acquired Russian land.

“In an interview with The Guardian, Zelensky stated that he intends to use the land captured by Ukrainian forces in Russia’s Kursk Region last August as leverage in negotiations with Moscow. He admitted, however, that he is unsure which former Ukrainian territories he would seek in exchange,” RT said.

Russia claimed in January that they have stopped this Ukrainian advance.

Fascinatingly, the idea of using this land as a bargaining chip seems to have come from former U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

“Their position in Kursk is an important one because certainly it’s something that would factor in any negotiation that may come about in the coming year,” Blinken told reporters in January.

Zelensky’s statements echoing Blinken on Tuesday received a response from multiple Russian officials.

“Zelensky’s proposal has also been ridiculed by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, who stated in a social media post that the only land that Neonazis rampaging in Kursk Region’ will receive is a grave plot,” RT said. “She also suggested that the Ukrainian leader’s remarks were merely an attempt to distract from the failures his forces continue to suffer on the battlefield.”

Zelensky has been forced to comply with peace talks by President Donald Trump, however the Ukrainian ruler said he just wants nuclear weapons. In January Zelensky, who stands 5’5″, explained how he’s upset he doesn’t have nukes but other countries do. This is not the first time Zelensky has called for nuclear weapons however, having done so back in October. His ‘victory plan‘ detailed continued war with Russia, NATO membership and three classified points, which may have been nuclear in nature.

Russia believes the West is about to dump Zelensky. Both Washington and Moscow have said they’re ready for peace talks.

On Wednesday however, Russia carried out a massive air attack against Ukrainian targets.

“In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry confirmed that Russian forces had carried out a ‘group missile strike on workshops of Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises producing unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV drones’,” RT said. “’The goals of the strikes have been accomplished, all designated facilities have been hit’, officials added. According to Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, the wave of strikes resulted in one death, four injuries and infrastructure damage.”
